I am a visionary and strategic leader with extensive experience de-tangling and delivering complex programs, strategic projects, and sustainable IT Governance / PPMOs.
Originally from Long Island NY, with a period of development in the Houston, TX area. An Army SROTC, I chose Colorado State University for my undergraduate & graduated with a BS in Wildlife Biology - later earned a MS in Management from Thomas Edison State University.
Early in my professional career, I joined a marine design & engineering firm to enable the local office with technology, evolving into a role as a Section Manager in Materials Engineering @ Bath Iron Works). I was recruited into the Management Development (MDI) program and my passion for leadership excellence was ignited!
I found that business change & transformation through program management was what got me excited because I saw early how technology (IT & OT: Information & Operational Technology) was going to forever change how business was being done. I worked in similar transformation leadership & executive roles in multiple industries - including manufacturing, aerospace & defense, healthcare, insurance, consumer products, retail, government technology, oil & gas refining, and government health services.
I help clients gain control of their program, project, IT, and PMO costs & schedules for their most strategic programs & projects – mentoring and driving teams in best practices to assure sustainable change management discipline.
Working collaboratively and well under pressure, I build teams to produce high-quality results in short periods of time. My strong interpersonal skills enable me to work effectively with people.
I am a managing principal of a program management & emergency planning consulting firm, looking for an opportunity to work with leaders share my passion for excellence.
I want to ally & align myself with clients where we can create positive change for extraordinary results. I am a lifelong learner and open to taking on the most challenging initiatives.
