I am originally from Long Island, NY with a short period of development (during the Apollo program) in Texas. With a Army SROTC scholarship, I went to college in Colorado and graduated having majored in wildlife biology. I started my professional career in marine design & engineering then (as a Section Manager in Materials Engineering) I was accepted into the management development program at Bath Iron Works and may passion was ignited! I found that business change & transformation through program and project management was what got me motivated because I saw early how technology (IT & OT) was going to forever change how business was being done. As information technology expanded and dominated the course of businesses, I worked in increasing leadership responsibilities in multiple industries: manufacturing, aerospace & defense, healthcare, insurance, consumer appliances, and government technology and government health services. For the past seven years I have been the managing principal of a consulting firm serving clients across the USA
I reside in Maine and have been a road warrior since 1995 and enjoy the opportunity to meet & work with all types of people across a range of industries and companies.
I help client organizations gain control of their program, project, IT, and PMO costs and schedule for their most strategic programs and projects – mentoring and driving teams in best practices to assure sustainable change management discipline.
I work well under pressure and can produce high-quality work in short periods of time and have strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with a wide variety of people.
I am a co-founder of a consulting firm but due to a recent business change, I am looking for an opportunity to work with a team that runs on clear communication and has a shared passion for improving business-IT operations.
I want to align myself with a company I believe in and where I can create positive change. for them or their clients I am always looking to learn more and am open to taking on the most challenging projects.
